About Lyca

Lyca is a very sweet and loving dog! She loves everyone. I am not sure how she does with young kids, but does well with older. She also loves dogs! She has always been around dogs and does well when she's off the leash, however on leash she is very reactive as she just wants to play! She is crate trained, knows simple commands, and is working very hard walking on leash and not jumping, however she loves to go off leash hiking and has a wonderful recall with humans she trusts. If she is around another dog, she tends to want to stay with the pack or check in with the pack! She is high energy so she needs a home where she can get her energy out, but also have her very smart brain exercised! Lyca's ideal home will have a fenced yard, hopefully a dog friend to play with (but is fine without), and a family who can give her all the attention that she so deserves. This is an incredibly hard decision to rehome Lyca, but I want to make sure she gets absolutely everything she deserves. She does have a bit of separation anxiety, but I found that crating her when I'm out of the house does the trick to keep her very safe! Overall she is just a silly dog who loves to play, sleep under the bed, and be loved!
