About Jack

Jack is a rescue who was found roaming the streets in rural Georgia. He is a great dog but does have a slightly nervous temperament and is skittish around loud noises and loud people. He's a love bug and loves to cuddle and play with people once he has a chance to meet/warm up to them. He doesn't have experience with kids mostly because I don't have any and haven't tried to introduce him to any. He can be somewhat reactive to other dogs while on a leash and because of his nervous disposition. Also - he has a mild resource guarding issue that can make it hard to play with other random dogs (typically with toys or something he's playing with - like a twig/stick). I honestly think this is something that can be worked on (as well as the nervous disposition) in a home that knows how to work with him in a way he can understand. I'm a full time student but also having some health issues and am unable to keep up with him and help him have the best home that he deserves and so I'm trying to find someone who can be that home for him. He comes with crate, TONS of toys, food, treats, and everything else that I have.
