About Athena

Hi there! Athena is a very affectionate, curious, friendly, funny, and playful! but timid at first. Once she knows you are okay though she will presently roll over and present her belly for rubs and pets. She's smart and wants to please, but the shyness holds her back. But it's getting better. She sleeps in a crate all night.She is not crazy about a leash, so we are still working on that. Athena is great with every dog she meets, and would do best in a home with another dog to help build her confidence she is also very loyal to loved ones. She is family friendly - gentle, good with children, older folks and other dogs and cats. She is a smart and loving girl. She would love to lay on the couch and cuddle with you. But, is also full of puppy energy and very curious about the world at times. She is a very special pup and would make the perfect addition to any family. ( A little back story of Athena is she was found abandon in the highway perfectly healthy. ( update in the time we had Athena we decided, to get her a DNA test which states that she is 28% German Shepherd 25% Border Collie 18% Golden retriever 16% Siberian Husky 13% White Swiss Shepherd Dog. Athena needs a forever home. I found her a few weeks ago now. I'm unsure of her vet history she has been treated for fleas while being with me. I'm unable to provide getting her puppy shots or getting her spayed because I already have other animals that I'm providing for.She has been having to stay outside during the day and I would love for her to find a forever home that has the time for her. I would be willing to meet halfway within reasonable distance to get this sweet girl to a home that is suitable for her. I would guess she's about 6 months old. Does great with other dogs,cats and kids. She's shy but starting to have more trust. No signs of aggression and loves to play with toys. )
