About Nala

Meet Nala! She was found as a stray in a thunderstorm by a good Samaritan. Her rescuer did absolutely everything to find her owner, to no avail. No microchip, of course. Nala has settled nicely into her foster home but she is now ready for her forever home. She is believed to be a Golden retriever/ Terrier mix. The vet said she is about 5 yrs old but her teeth are perfect. She is currently 47 lbs and working on her figure. She sheds minimally but is not hypoallergenic. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Her foster mom says: she is the SWEETEST girl. She gets along with all dogs, people and children she's met. She is completely content just lounging around the house with some cuddles at your convenience. Nala is calm, obedient, polite, with a friendly demeanor. She also likes to walk, go for a ride and play chase. She is fully housebroken and can sit. She needs a bit more practice with leash walking. She would be a wonderful companion to anyone who longs for a loyal and gentle companion. She is currently fostered in Port Charlotte, FL. Contact her foster mom for more pictures and videos.
