About Effie May / Lil Girl

Effie May / Lil Girl is a sweet, loving, rambunctious 8 month old (9 months on 9/4/24) catahoula/lab puppy. She is not completely blind, but definitely has sight issues being worse in the sun. She was the runt of the litter, so she was named Lil Girl for the first 5 months of her life and calls to it pretty well. She is house broke, crate trained and knows sit and paw commands (even though she can't always see the paw she tries her hardest LOL). My friend/roommate's pure bred catahoula had a litter of puppies and this lil girl stuck around. She has only been around cats once and didn't know what to make of them but wasn't aggressive at all so I believe with work she could warm up to them. She loves all dogs, people and kids and is an absolute snuggle bug in the bed. My living situation is changing and since I have two catahoulas already, I want to make sure she has the best live and know I cannot provide that for her. Because of her eye issues and her being PLENTY catahoula, I want to make sure she goes to a proper home that knows how catahoulas are and have experience in dogs with sight issues.
