Leo is very much loved, and is a wonderful pet, but only for the two of us. He is very protective, and needs more running than we can give him. He really needs a farm and a herd! If anyone needs an adorable, affectionate working dog, Leo is your dog. He is great with the usual commands-sit, paw, down, heal, come. Stay? It's a little short and could use more practice. We are his third home, and I absolutely hate to let him go-he has been with us for exactly three months, and has been my shadow since the first days. Leo gets anxious when people come over, and has nipped/bitten. He runs inside and outside, frantically trying to keep up with us all. So far, children are safe- he loves them. He does not aggressively bite, has left bruises. We cannot have a nipper around the littles. Their parents are not coming back until he is rehomed. We are 70 and 80 years in age, and cannot meet Leo's needs. Leo is a great dog, in so many ways! Smart as can be. Sweet as the day is long, for his owners. He loves to play games with his toys. But we cannot keep him. He will be a better dog with room to run. It breaks my heart.
