About Flora-So Sweet!

Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! Watch out world, here comes FLORA (: Our little wildflower is ready to find her own family and fully bloom! Flora came from an overcrowded shelter(like so many) that was going to have to make some sad choices due to space issues. Sadly, even healthy, young, social dogs like Flora will be put down when their time runs out, it is a sad fact. But, we were lucky enough to take this beautiful girl into our rescue and be a part of her journey to find her forever family. We are not sure of the breed(s). She looks to be a Plott Hound mix, and mixed with that is up for grabs, perhaps Mountain Cur, who knows? Whatever she is, Flora is sweet, playful, very smart, and incredibly loving. When we first met her she smothered us with kisses and wiggles, she is a goof of a girl! Flora is going to be a fairly tall girl, she is quite leggy already and is only about 6 months old. Flora has a very sleek and athletic physique and she can run like a greyhound! Her very favorite activity is running and playing with her dog pals, she leads the pack in the daily games of tag. But, she always makes time to come and check on her people and make sure we get plenty of hugs and kisses, she is very affectionate! Flora is fully housebroken and does well in a crate at night or when we are gone. Flora will do well with an active family/person. Probably older kids will be best, she is a little too bouncy for little ones. She is such a striking beauty with her gorgeous brindle coat and soulful eyes. She will be a great walking/jogging/hiking partner. Flora's adoption fee is just $250, and she will go home with plenty of supplies to help her settle in.
