We rescued this chow chow, which we named GB (see photo), in 2020 as the pandemic started. He's about 6 years old, 45 pounds, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He's generally a very good, loyal and loving dog, but he bit our son in the leg recently and also snapped at two adults. The incidents have not punctured skin, but we're now concerned to have him around any kids. GB also doesn't seem to do well with other dogs. He spent a few sessions with an animal behaviorist two years ago, but we later discontinued those sessions. In short, we're looking to rehome GB and feel he could be a wonderful pet in the right situation, particularly someone who knows how to work with chows. Unfortunately, we feel like he is no longer a good fit with our family with two pre-teen sons.
