This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. The golden pup we have since named Honey was dumped on a private road in Dayton a few weeks ago. She was emaciated, suffering from a skin condition and had been shot at close range by a pellet gun. She is afraid of entering door ways- the vet said this could be due to being abused for trying to exit/ enter a home Honey has been to the vet, she is 10 months old. She is heart worm negative Her skin condition is due to a flea allergy. At the time she was picked up she only weighed 36 pounds. She was given a rabies vaccination, as well as flea/ tick and heart worm treatment. Short term she is safe with a family. She is good with other dogs. I am hoping a rescue/ foster can step in and help her. She will come with a crate, toys and food.
