About Hooch

Great Dane / Mastiff
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

We adopted Hooch at 10 weeks old and he is now almost 10 months old. He has always been a little timid but very sweet to our family. The main and only reason we are having to rehome his is due to an accident with my other dog. They were playing in our living room when Hooch's bottom teeth got stuck under my other dogs collar..Hooch was freaking out scared trying to get loose and it took me about a minute to unlock the collar. During that incident my other the dog the Lab, took it as it was a fight and has been terrified of him for over a week and is now being aggressive and lashing out at Hooch. Hooch tries and tries to get our Lab to play with him but our Lab is traumatized. We have 3 children and it has been alot more responsibility on our plate trying to curb all of this. We found a good home for Hooch but on his first day at the new home he was very scared and nipped at the daughter who was holding treats to give him, we know he's not aggressive with any of us nor has he NEVER bit any of us but seems like he was very scared. Seems he will need a little bit of work settling into a new place.
