About Attie

Looking for a new home for our 8-month-old brindle Chihuahua mix, Attie. He's an adorable, velcro dog who thrives on being close to his people and would do best with someone who can spend a large portion of their day with him, like someone who works from home. He's great with kids, loves to cuddle, and enjoys sleeping under blankets. We have cats and he does well with the older one who is more assertive and will give him a quick bop on the head if he tries to chase. Attie does like to chase our younger cat who is less assertive. We've noticed that for a few days after he goes to doggy daycare he becomes a bit more anxious and will tend to quietly growl or bark at people on walks. He's friendly if they approach and does well when we bring treats and give them throughout the walk. Ideally, Attie would have some outdoor space and perhaps a doggy friend, but he would also be happy in a home where he can go on regular walks. He loves adventures and is an excellent travel companion. Although we both love him dearly, we realize that we can't give him the time and energy he deserves at this point in our lives. He really is a great little dog.
