About Dash

Dash Dash is an extroverted dog that can have an independent streak. He loves everyone. Dash is the 'younger brother' about 2 weeks younger than Rusty. He has piercing blue eyes and a white and silver and black mixed coat. Recently the back of his coat and stomach needed to be shaved as he was losing some hair in spots. I believe it has a lot to do with anxiety. It is growing back healthier looking now and for the time being looks like a 'punk rock husky'. He likes to talk to his human's and will run around in circles when you come home. He does like to jump on you when you get out the leash to walk him. On walks he's in no rush. He likes to smell the roses. He likes to pee on every tree he sees. He is extremely excited when he sees another dog or a squirrel or duck. He is friendly with other dogs but sometimes doesn't know his own size when playing with them in regards to the smaller ones. He doesn't fight with other dogs but will play as hard as they want to. He has never lived with cats and probably would think they are toys. He loves to lick and get his head and nose rubbed. He loves to be kissed and sleeps on the edge of the bed near his owner. He likes to receive full body bear hugs. He will come sit on your lap and pretend to be a cat sometimes. He is also wicked smart. He knows how to escape fences and untangled himself from his leash on his walks. He knows how to get what he wants which is attention and love and fun. He will talk to you when he wants something. It's normally to play! He has calmed down in his middle age but still has a puppies energy when it comes to playing fetch, going on walks and meeting other dogs. He follows command sit and down as well.
