About Fluffy

I've got an absolutely handsome, older sweetie that is looking for a foster, rescue placement, or (ideally) his forever home to live out his senior years in! Meet Mr. Fluffy, he comes from a local feral colony but is one of the sweetest purring machines out there! He's around 12 years old, 8.5lbs, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on vaccines, and polydactyl (cute, extra toe beans to love)! Mr. Fluffy was removed from, and cannot return to, the colony due to concerns about his weight/health. Currently, he is fairly thin and underweight for his Maine Coon-ish frame. A vet visit confirmed that he has hyperthyroidism (easily treated with a cheap, daily pill that he eats in his wet food without a problem) and the beginning stages of kidney disease (common for his age and the recommendation is simply to switch to prescription kidney food). The vet was confident that Mr. Fluffy will be able to put on some weight and thrive with these two small changes. That said, Mr. Fluffy doesn't let his health conditions get him down and he is such a happy, purring, biscuit making boy! If anything, this guy has only continued to perk up and show more of his sweet personality after having been on his new diet and thyroid meds for the past few days.
