UPDATE Rosie Mae has entered into our 8 week basic obedience training course. While there she will work on crate training, leash training and socialization. She will also learn basic commands such as: sit, stay, come, leave it, and heel. She will complete her training and be ready to go to her new home on November 12, 2024. Hello, my name is Rosie Mae, and I am a very affectionate, gentle, and shy little girl. I am friendly, and I love to cuddle. I am a bit independent and enjoy my quiet time, but I also love to play. I am a bit shy and backward, so I am looking for a patient owner who can help me come out of my shell. It will take me a while to open up fully, but I promise that if you give me a chance, I will bring so much love into your life. I am not sure how I feel about other dogs, I came to my current caretakers as a stray. I am approximately 1-2 years old, vaccinated, spayed, negative for heartworm and Lyme. I would love to meet you and see if we could be a good match. If you have room in your heart and your home, please consider adopting me. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application at https://www.guernseycountydogshelter.com/ Completed adoption application does not guarantee adoption approval!!
