About Arya & Sansa

Bonded pair of sisters, will not split up. Do you guys remember Arya and Sansa I took in as very sickly bottle babies many months ago?! Did you know they're still in the rescue with some amazing fosters of ours?! After months of battling back and forth respiratory issues with the girls, Arya finally got better was spayed months back. Sansa had to wait longer to get fixed because she had been so sick back and forth. At that point Sansa had seen 3 vets who didn't really give us answers and just tried other meds. Finally last week Sansa was well enough to be spayed. Fast forward to our spay and neuter clinic calling us with some concerns. During her spay procedure, they pulled alot of yellow fluid out of her tummy. This was our answer loud and clear, Sansa has FIP and the diagnosis had been missed several times before! We promptly got ahold of our dear friend Marcia who helps us out with every FIP case we have and we've already got Sansa started on her fip injections. She'll need bloodwork in a few weeks and then every 4 weeks while under treatment (treatment is 84 days of a daily injection followed by 84 days of observation) during this time together Sansa and Arya have grown very closely bonded always being there for one another,with that being said, we would LOVE to find a forever home for these two girls together , either once Sansa is completed her treatment in a long 168 + days.... (or preferably) we find a family willing to continue her treatment , cost completely covered by us, who has experience giving pet injections or fip experience so we can get them out of their foster homes and into a forever home, also opening up our fosters to new babies! Either way, here's an update on those two and please root for Sansa during this treatment ! And send some funds if you can! Fip meds and the bloodwork , syringes, needles ect add up and Sansa is one of 2 Fip kitties under treatment at this time ! Both kittens are around 5.5-6 months old currently.
