Stumpy was found when he walked into a colony of kitties and started crying at the feeders. He had a badly injured tail that was so infected it had to be amputated at the mid-way mark and that's how he got his name! Stumpy is very affectionate boy that will greet you at the door, he loves head buts and will follow you around the house. He does not like to be by himself and gets upset when he is. He does give little love bites that do not hurt (just say NO and he stops) but are being curtailed by the foster. He loves other cats and getting used to dogs. He would be perfect in a single cat house or with another one in his age group or older. He is not afraid of kittens anymore. There are no additional care or special instructions for his tail. But he doesn't like his tail end touched, and he'll let you know that if you try. He would make a great addition to your open plan house. Please visit us at one or all of our locations. We have seniors, barn cats and young adults and kittens and kittens that have FELV.... They too need and give much love. We also need fosters and plenty of them, so we can save way more furballs.
