Cooper is a dog our cat rescue pulled from the shelter that was HBC. He is healed & ready for his forever home. He has adjusted to being a tripod From his foster Cooper is a friendly, sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. I would say his play style is gentle and dainty. He is a tripod or three-legged dog. It hasn't had any issues adapting to the loss of his rear leg. He does need help getting into a car or on some higher beds/couches. Over the last 6 weeks he hasn't shown any anxiety issues. I've been able to leave him free in the house with no issues. He loves his dog-beds and sleeping on the couch. He was friendly with all the humans and dogs he met. He is crate trained, house trained (will whine to go outside), and knows some commands (sit, stay, leave it), but needs a little reinforcement on them. He pulls a little when he walks on a leash, mostly if he sees another dog/human he wants to meet. He has been great on his car rides. He mostly stays in the back, but for longer rides will try to come up front to hang with you. Once in the front seat he will just curl up and sleep. He did well with my dog. No issues with them sharing a water dish or dog beds/toys. They ate in the same room, but were separated a few feet apart. I haven't had him around cats, but he doesn't chase squirrels or lizards like my dog, so I don't see it being an issue. He does beg a little when you're eating, but we've been working on it and he is much better about laying down quietly while I eat. One of the things I love the most about Cooper, he doesn't bark. No barking when someone knocks on the door or he sees anothe
