About Nesta

Meet Nesta, our spirited 6-7 month-old cattle dog mix with a heart as big as his personality! Nesta's journey began in quite the dramatic fashion; he was found as a tiny puppy in the midst of a severe storm, and ever since then, he's been showing us just how resilient and adaptable he is. Nesta is already house trained and crate trained, a testament to his intelligence and eagerness to learn. He's a quick study when it comes to commands and is always ready to impress with his smarts. While he's still polishing his manners and could use a bit more practice in that department, his enthusiasm and determination make him a fast learner. Though Nesta might feel a little nervous in new environments, he's a loving and loyal companion who thrives with patience and reassurance. He's making great strides in going to places like Home Depot and is improving his loose leash walking skills. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he's sure to bring joy and warmth to any home willing to give him the support he needs. Nesta is good with other dogs and cats and should do well with older children. Nesta does have a common herding breed trait in that he likes to claim his person and will gently warn another dog to stay back if his person is sitting. Nesta can learn he doesn't need to do this and he should improve as he gains more confidence.
