About Selma Burke

Adoption Fee: $250
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Meet Selma Burke of our Artist Litter, an enchanting five-month-old jet-black kitten with eyes that gleam like golden suns. She came to us with her littermates, Frida Kahl, Georgia O'Keeffe, Anna Boch, and Jackson Pollock! The family was found, along with their mother, as strays and brought into a local vet hospital where sadly they learned that mom was positive for leukemia. Unfortunately, Selma received that same diagnosis. Selma is the epitome of sweetness, with a personality that matches her stunning looks. She's a pint-sized adventurer who delights in scaling baby gates and throughout the house for her next grand exploration. Her chirps are like little melodies that echo her boundless curiosity and yearning for attention. Her affectionate nature shines through in her gentle kisses and playful antics. Fearless around dogs and a friend to other cats and kids of all ages, Selma brings a touch of magic to every corner of the home. Due to her diagnosis, she must be adopted to a home with one of her littermates or no cats at all as leukemia is contagious to other kitties. While her lifespan will be shorter, she's still so incredibly deserving of a loving home! If you're looking for a bundle of joy with a heart as golden as her eyes, Selma is the kitten for you! Her adoption fee is $250 and Selma is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed so you must return to our vet in Bethel, CT for that appointment.
