It is with a heavy heart we have made the decision to re-home our Australian Shepherd, Goose. (Full-blooded Mini Aussie.) Goose is comfortable in different environments. (He has lived in 5 homes with my husband and I throughout the years.) He has lived with 3 other dogs and 1 cat. Goose loves walks and the dog park. He has successfully met and gotten along with many different people and pets. We are confident he will be happy in the home of a loving owner. Goose is extremely loyal to the people close to him. He is always attentive to his owner's actions and moods. He is not professionally trained; however, he does listen well. He will sit, stay and return when called, and will not leave your side long enough to run away. Goose's loyalty and eagerness to protect contributed to our decision to rehome him. (He guards US from our daughter/adopter MUST NOT have kids.) He is very protective of his home and has even protected me during a home invasion where he ran off the intruder. Goose always warms up to adults he has not met before but can become stressed with a lot of people coming and going. He does wonderful with dog sitters and has been boarded multiple times. Goose is given free range of the house during the day and at night. We have never had a chewing problem with him. He was clear of genetic health issues and is currently active and healthy. Our desire is for Goose to be in a loving home and for another person to experience the personality and loyalty of a dog we love very much. (Will waive fee for the right owner.)
