About Kitt & Mena

Please help with this kind Human's dying wish to keep his dogs together! From the owner: I adopted Kitt. He has given me so much I can't explain. He Suffered my lack of energy with grace like he does everything. I adopted Mena for him (and me) . I felt he needed another dog to be whole as in running and playing with energy. Also I had never had a dog that didn't have other dogs or cats or horses. Mena is a joy and they are straight up a team. She was adopted in Nov. 2022. They leash as unit and work with me well. In other words as a working group. I believe they are very athletic and very jovial and would take to obstacle sports well. They have a large vocabulary and a lot of spirit. In other words they enjoy outcome related activities, and can respond to human language, whistles and hand signs; they also differentiate right and left. They have been with me for 2yrs. I believe they have an ability at this stage to accommodate new working and command structures from a different owner. They are empathetic and are always there to help if I fall. They are 6 and 3 respectively. It is harder for me to take care of them properly. Even just cleaning the yard is sometimes really challenging. They deserve somebody with more energy. And who really loves human animal pursuits (activities). When I die they will be broken hearted. They don't deserve the added heartbreak of separation. PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. Kitt and Mena may not attend Saturday adoption events due to Owner illness, however we can make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with approved applications.
