About Merlin

Merlin came to a shelter/rescue in April 2024 after being hit by a car and receiving a pelvis injury. After some great medical care, bed rest, and fostering he was back on his feet and ready for action! We adopted him to be a companion dog while working around a local farm M-F and a pet durring non-work hours. However, the farm noises and the constant hustle of people were difficult and too stressful for him. He has a very sweet disposition, quickly bonds with his people, and loves riding around in the car. He is a weekend warrior enjoying hikes, beach time, and playing with four-legged friends. Merlin is very dog focused and would do well with a larger or older dog who can teach him the rules of his new home. His breed needs space, so a yard is needed to adopt him. He is fully house broken, crate trained, knows sit, down, and leave it. He is still learning proper leash walking and manners.
