About Maple

Parkour anyone? Meet Maple, a petite 30-pound, one-year old Australian cattle dog/red heeler. Maple is a lot of dog in a small package and she is the sweetest, most loving, fun, funny, and entertaining dog that you could ever meet. She is also very smart and active, so she is looking for an experienced an adopter to keep up with her mental and physical needs and share their home with her and have adventures together. Maple's ideal adopter will offer her companionship, daily walks, training, and a calm and quiet home with a secure yard. Maple enjoys leash walks but needs a large fenced off-leash area to get her daily exercise, so a country home on acreage would be perfect. Maple settles well indoors after she gets her exercise. She is crate trained and eats, sleeps and rides in the car in a crate. Activities like agility, nose work, skateboarding!!!, tree climbing!!!, and other dog sports would be really fun with Maple as she is extremely smart, athletic, agile, and FEARLESS so will thrive with anything where she is given a job and some guidance. Maple has been trained using a clicker and loves learning new tricks. Maple does have high herding instincts, so a home with no other pets would be her happy place. Maple is currently being fostered in Eugene, Oregon. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated and ready to find her forever home.
