Tillie is a 4 year-old, 42 pound, cattle dog/corgi mix. She is loving, smart, athletic, and a super fun dog! Her foster mom took her to trivia night at food carts and she did great with new people and kids and she is so smart she even answered a few of the questions correctly! Tillie did great at the crowded event and showed absolutely no evidence of leash aggression and she picked up on how to walk on a leash pretty quickly. She loves treats and is pretty focused on what people are eating but didn't try to take anything she wasn't allowed. Tillie does well with the senior dog at her foster home who is low energy and mostly ignores her, but high energy dogs can be a bit much for her unless they have time to get to know each other a bit. She also should be placed in a cat free home as cats are just way too interesting to her and tend to set off her prey drive. Tillie has been in foster care with sheep. As much as she wants to chase cats she does not seem to have a prey drive toward the sheep. When she met the sheep through a fence (and on a leash) and was not at all 'herding crazy' if anything she was a little timid and scared of them. She's very smart and very people oriented. She's laser focused on whoever is her 'person' in the moment, so she is not only Velcro to a single person but will connect with everyone in the household. Tillie is so smart she has learned to sit, lie down, and recall within 2-3 days and knows her name. She is also an amazing athlete. With her ability to jump super high and her high trainability she would excel at agility! Tillie is being fostered in Sisters, Oregon. She is spayed, microchipped, UTD on vaccines and ready to go to her forever home.
