Lily is a special puppy, she lives on a 45 AC farm with several other dogs, several cats, horses, cows and chickens. She gets along with all of them except the chickens. Lily is 8 years old and has been with us since 5 months old. She is sweet, loyal, playful and a good watchdog. She warms up to other dogs/cats very quickly and to strangers slowly. She developed a taste for the chickens about 5 years ago. I was determined to break her of it. But it's true, once they start, they don't stop. No matter how/what I tried, the chickens always lost. So, currently, her playfulness/fun is cut short having to be contained. It hurts to see her like that. I don't think that is fair to keep her contained, so it is with a very heavy heart I decided to re-home her. Although she does come inside sometimes, she has been an outside dog since 2years old, whose job (w the other dogs) was/is to keep the farm safe, BUT, she would love to and would make a great inside dog w frequent opportunities for outside play.
