About TEAK

HI - I'M TEAK! On paper I'm a 2-year-old lab/pit mix (maybe with some hound thrown in) in need of a foster or forever home. But in reality, I could be between 1-2 years old given my youthful exuberance and puppy tendencies. Despite my cuteness, I'm not for the faint of heart: I am 80 pounds, a ball of energy and a dog that could use a strong owner to help me learn basic commands. But if you choose me, I'll be loyal and loving for the rest of my days. I am still protective over my food, which probably stems from my background with a lousy owner. I was rescued from a California shelter in the nick of time - I was so unhappy there. Now, I am hopeful. I would love a home with an experienced owner who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings - and who can provide me with some basic training. I'm currently in California but can be transported to you in Oregon or Washington. Please email for an application.
