Hey there, everyone! I'm Major, and I'm a friendly, energetic, vocal, and playful black Belgian Malinois/ Labrador mix fella who was born in February 2024. At six months old, I weighed 30 pounds, but I could double my weight when I'm fully grown. I get along great with adults, kids, and other dogs. I'm still a happy, silly, clownish pup, but I'd love to tell you what you might expect me to be like when I grow up. The Belgian Malinois adult is usually described as smart, eager, confident, elegant, and people-oriented. The two-fold key to the Malinois' happiness is being side-by-side with our adored owner and getting plenty of exercise. Although I'm a great house dog, I'll need regular daily exercise for my physical and mental well-being. I'm looking for an active family who will take me on daily walks or engage me with tennis balls, tug-ropes, or Frisbees. We Mals are a herding breed that's ready to work hard as well as a breed that forms an unbreakable bond with our human partner. To deny a Mal activity and the pleasure of your company is to deprive us of our very reason for being. I need a new home because I was neglected and abused in my first home, even though I'm still a puppy. After I sliced my leg open when I burst through a window to escape my abuser, a dog advocate stepped in and removed me from this terrifying situation. I hope that you're looking for a sociable and easygoing dog like me and that you'll arrange to meet me! Let's write a new chapter in our lives together! Major is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, crate-trained, and is on heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $400 for puppies 9 months and younger. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
