About Maggie

This is Maggie, spayed female, UTD on shots, negative heartworm and receives monthly prevention. She is a medium sized dog weighing 52lbs. I rescued her from DFW shelter one day before scheduled euthanasia. Since being here she has adapted to my inside and outdoor cats. If an outdoor cat runs she wants to chase but is easily redirected. She bonded well to my red heeler. She has a fenced yard and also is taken outside the fence, no leash, without issues, comes when called. She walks on a leash, knows basic commands. She travels very well in my truck, easy to forget she's even with me. Only issue is she doesn't want to potty in strange places. Am working on command to 'hurry up' to signal she needs to go potty. She is crate trained, sleeps and eats in her crate. She doesn't bark hardly at all. She has not been around chickens or farm animals to my knowledge. She likes my 11 yr old grandson.
