About Cookie

Cookie is 50 lbs, 15 mos old, Shar Pei mix with just a few wrinkles on her head. She is kennel trained, dog friendly, but picky with her friend cycle. She loves children and people. Cookie has a beautiful black coat with yellow eyes, stunning to look at and sweet natured, and craves love and attention. She came to PAWS as an owner surrender who kept her chained up in a side yard with little to no human contact, basic food or water, or exercise so she's known what's it's like to go without and not having the comfort of a cool/warm home. Yet, she's a happy girl all the time and loves to walk and just hang out with you. Local stray males got to her and she had a litter of seven puppies before she was even 1 YO that we were able to place in wonderful homes so now it's her turn. She never had a toy until her foster mom gave her one and now she loves playing with them. Cookie will make a great companion for a family or single person. While a fenced in yard would be great, it's not required for adoption. She would need help and a little time with potty training in her new home so she could get used to your routine of going out.
