Come meet Bruno, formerly Bacon from Apple Valley! He's an approximately two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who is super happy, smart, playful, and affectionate. Bruno is a special needs pup as he is hearing impaired, but this is part of his charm! Due to his difficulty hearing, he ignores most dogs and is a very deep sleeper. He has had some basic training as he knows how to sit, lay down, and walk well on a leash. He is house-trained, and loves all people, including children! While he is dog friendly, he can be food aggressive with dogs only, so he is best as the only dog in the house or will need an owner dedicated to his training. He has not been cat-tested, but seems overly interested in strays. Bruno weighs about 55 lbs. is neutered, and all vaccinations are up to date. As a cattle dog, he is active and requires daily exercise, mental stimulation, and playtime. He loves to be around his people and will follow you around if you let him. He makes the most adorable howling sounds when he needs something. If you are looking for a dog that you can take on any adventure and who will love you forever, Bruno is your perfect match! To meet Bruno, contact his foster: call (619) 804-8649 or email [email protected]. Bruno is being fostered in downtown San Diego.
