About Greta

Due to some health issues and other circumstances that have come up for me this year, I have to find a home for my best friend in the world, Miss Greta. It's taken me way too long to do this because I love her so much. But it's become apparent that she needs more than what I can give her. She is my life, so it's important for me to find just the right home and fit for her. All I want is for my girl to be happy and fulfilled. Greta is a spayed 3 1/2 year old, 68 lb. beautiful Sheprador who is fit and very healthy. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old. She's seen the vet regularly and is up to date on all of her vaccines. Greta has the sweetest personality!! She loves people, kids, belly rubs and is very playful! Greta wants to be with me at all times and is right there no matter what I'm doing. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. She does fine left in the house when I'm gone. Her passion is her ball or frisbee and she could play endlessly with them! She also loves the water! Greta travels very well in the car in her crate. She loves being outdoors and sniffing out new things, and is a great camper. She is a fun and goofy girl! Greta has some challenges, but for the right person or family situation they could be manageable. She will chase small animals including cats. She has strong leash reactivity toward dogs she doesn't know, so she needs to be mostly at home dog or taken on adventures (which she loves) where you aren't likely to run into other dogs at close proximity. She does have some doggie friends that she enjoys playing with though so a home with a dog could still be an option. Also, it's hard for Greta to settle at times as she's on constant alert, which is pretty much the personality of a GSD.
