About ULA

Great Pyrenees / Australian Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Ula (meaning pearl/gem of the sea!) is an all tile friendly fur all with the happiest of wail tags for anyone with 4 legs or two that comes her way!! She'll be 11 months this month in August! She's great with kids, though would probably be better off with older kids given she gets very excited and tail-waggy and licks so she doesn't understand boundaries with smaller kids yet. Ula is a happy go lucky dog who deserves the best home as I'm no longer home to give her the time of day and has been bouncing back and forth to different homes and doggy day cares and don't think that's fair for her. She LOVES to bask in our backyard and will sit there all day thinking she's guarding our yard (the pyrenees in her). Ula passed her puppy training with flying colors and was the quickest learner in the class (the Aussie in her I'm sure). She moved on to intermediate training too which she did great in. Is leashed trained, crate trained, and potty trained. She goes on daily walks just to burn off some puppy energy and then sleeps the majority of the day. She does fine without her walks but like most dogs, she needs regular exercise to stay happy and not fall into boredom but doesn't require anything crazy. I've always done daily walks with her (long or short) and if you do a hike or big excursion it will tire her out for a couple days. She gets overheated easily so I tend to do walks either early in the morning or in the afternoon, usually around the block does the trick for her as she would rather be basking in the backyard 'guarding her land' -that being said she's not a big barker at all either but will make it known that she's guarding her territory, but never from an aggressive standpoint! Ula is great and is an all time favorite at the doggy daycares she's been at. Please contact should you have any questions, she will only be going to a great loving home.
