About Willie

Willie is an Australian Cattle Dog with possibly some Collie mixed in. He is only approximately 1 year old but with a background of boys teasing and tormenting him, Willie has decided that males aren't such a good thing right now. He has been very sweet with our female staff, and has made some progress with males, but at this point, we recommend he have a female owner. We're not sure about kids as the boys were teenagers and teasing him in any way would not be pleasant for Willie. He has been around other dogs at the shelter and does not even bark at them. We have not tested with cats yet. But regardless, this sweet handsome guy deserves a home where he can have some activity and lots of love without feeling threatened. A high fenced yard would be best for his size and age, he is about 35 pounds and a bit of a jumper, neutered and vaccinations are up to date.
