**PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY** FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!! Jackson is a delightful 7-year-old, 20-pound male Schnauzer mix who came to rescue when his previous owner could no longer care for him. He's an energetic and well-trained dog who thrives in an active environment. Jackson will require a secure, fenced yard and is not a candidate for apartment/condo living. Jackson excels at hiking and loves his walks, making him a great match for an active home. His new owner(s) must be willing to keep up with his physical activity and training to keep him happy and fulfilled. He loves his walks, but he has a bit of an attitude when meeting other dogs on a walk, so his new owner will need to work with him to help with that! This sweet, affectionate boy adores belly rubs and is a joy to have around the house. Plus, he's a low-shedder! Jackson would do well as either an only pet or with a submissive dog of similar size. He's best suited for a home with older children who are gentle and respectful. Please note, he's not compatible with cats. Jackson is ready to bring his love and energy to a new family who will enjoy his playful and affectionate nature! Jackson is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
