Meet Seattle Looking for a spirited companion who's as smart as she is loving? Meet Seattle, a 3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of playfulness and a mind eager to learn. This gorgeous girl is people-friendly through and through - she adores human company and thrives on interactive playtime. Personality: Seattle is not just another pretty face; she's exceptionally intelligent and loves a mental challenge. Whether it's learning new tricks or solving puzzles, her curiosity and quick wit make her a joy to be around. Social Compatibility: While she gets along famously with male dogs, Seattle prefers to be the queen of her castle and would do best as the only female dog in the household. She's looking for a family that understands her unique social preferences. Skills & Training: Potty trained? Check! Seattle has mastered the art and will keep your home potty-free. Plus, she's highly food motivated, which makes training sessions a breeze - and a delight! Favorite Activities: If there's one thing Seattle loves more than cuddling, it's playtime! She's always up for a game of fetch or a long walk in the park, soaking up every moment with her people. She is absolutely obsessed with squeaky toys and they are guaranteed to keep her entertained for hours. Ideal Home: An active family or individual who can match her energy and provide plenty of mental stimulation would be perfect for Seattle . A secure, loving environment where she can shine as the center of attention would make her tail wag with joy. Ready to add a bright spark of intelligence and affection to your life? Seattle is waiting to meet you and become your forever friend. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to bring home a loyal companion who will keep you entertained and loved for years to come! A note about adopting animals from the Houston, TX area: Based on statistics, animals from this area are ranked some of the most desperate in the US. Euthanasia rates are incredibly high for both puppies and adult dogs. While this dog is protected in our care, there are many others waiting for their opportunity to enter a program like this one and be given a second chance. Application link: https://purasanguine.com/adoptions/ click the 'adopt a hero' button and fill out the short form to receive an email with an adoption application. Please email [email protected] with any questions. Our dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $500 for those being transported and $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton Tx location. It covers the cost of transport and includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar and leash, a complete summary of their medical records emailed to you, and many years of laughs and love to come! Why adopt from Pura Sanguine? In 2021 Texas was ranked the No. 1 state for animal shelter deaths, the Greater Houston area is in desperate need to find other homing options outside of this area. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. This Little Hero has been blessed to get a second chance in life and is excited to start its next journey with you! We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives at once. The dog you adopt and the dog that will be replaced in their spot to continue on the same path! Follow our social me
