About Marty

Marty is a one year, black/white, male, Shihtzu mix.�%A0 We actually have his DNA.�%A0 Marty weighs 5lbs.�%A0 Marty arrived into our rescue on: �%A0 March 31, 2024. �%A0 He was part of an animal control confiscation case.�%A0 Marty came with two other dogs; probably siblings from another litter.�%A0 All three dogs had severe fear issues.�%A0 Coco was adopted to an incredible couple and is doing wonderful.�%A0 Ozzie is still with his foster mom.�%A0 Ozzie was close to being feral upon arrival.�%A0 Little Marty is still here with us.�%A0 This is the first time Marty is being posted.�%A0 He has been with two different foster moms, both of which have been working with him. �%A0 Marty has made significant strides in his journey.�%A0 He is now approaching his foster moms from a distance.�%A0 Marty will not get close enough to be picked up. He does wag his tail and demonstrates a form of playful behavior, but is still totally fearful of humans.�%A0 Criteria for adoption: local Sarasota, secure fenced yard, quiet, single woman, no kids.�%A0 Marty is great with other dogs.�%A0 He gets confidence from them, but foster mom would prefer Marty to bond with an individual.�%A0 If interested, lots more dialogue to come.�%A0 Adoption fee $400
