Looking for homes for two sweet puppies! I found them a week ago-- they were too young to be away from Mama so we have been bottle feeding. Now I'd guess they're about 4 weeks. Because they're orphans, I am okay with letting them go to their new homes in a week or two once they are fully weaned as long as the potential adopter is ready to deal with multiple feedings per day and the needs of a VERY young puppy. The mix I've listed them as is just a guess (although I'm fairly certain that there's beagle or hound in there somewhere because they're already howling...and it's the cutest sound I've ever heard). They are not short haired though-- the one with the white nose has almost an wiry, terrier-like coat, while the smaller one's reminds me of a spaniel of some kind. As of now (and again, just guessing-- these are mystery pups), I'd guess they'll be on the smaller side of medium (15-25 lbs according to the weight calculator I used which won't be completely accurate as I don't know the breed). Both are female. I would prefer to place them separately. They are just floppy little puppies right now so adult temperament and energy level isn't totally clear but they are extremely laid back and patient with a well-behaved three year old for a while (and when they were tired of her attention, they just went to their playpen and put themselves to bed with no fuss). So they seem to like kids and they just love being around people in general-- they've been coming to work with me every day and they are perfect in the office. They don't mind my older (small) dog. They are intrigued by the cats. We've started potty training with pee pads and even though they're very young, they're doing pretty good! All in all they are just SWEET babies. I've started them on dewormer, but they haven't been to the vet. They'll have their first vaccines before I send them home. Adoption fee can be waived for the right family-- not looking to make money, just looking to find them the absolute best homes possible. Please reach out if you are interested in giving one of these precious girls a good home!
