About TIGER - NYC ResQ Dog

Adoption Fee: $150
Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Due to a discriminatory ban on large dogs in New York City public housing, TIGER, a 2-yr-old 60 lb Pitbull mix, was dumped at the city kill pound where the exceptionally friendly dog was cruelly sentenced to death simply because that was easier for uncaring managers than placing him in a loving home. TIGER finally caught a break when a 501(c)(3) rescue group saved him at the last minute only to place him with a young woman who seemed to be caring but turned out to be the foster from hell who keeps TIGER in a crate most of the time. TIGER's rescue is now seeking an emergency foster or adopter to save him from his unhappy situation. TIGER is a lovable brindle beauty who was described by his original owner as 'relaxed and playful with the three kids he lived with, playful with dogs, and friendly and outgoing with strangers.' TIGER is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health. For more pictures or to foster or finally give TIGER the loving forever home he has never known in his life but truly deserves, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868. We will transport TIGER to any happy home in the USA for free. Thank You for your interest in sweet TIGER, a New York City rescue dog.
