About LUMBERJACK

LUMBERJACK is a very handsome German Shepherd-Great Pyrenees mix! She said he's kennel trained for night if necessary (like if cold or stormy weather and has to be inside), eats like a princess, best overall dog ever, but not socialized - except with her family, non-aggressive and hardly barks. (When I met him, he just acted very shy & timid but at the same time very sweet & friendly, never once growled, showed his teeth or made a peep - I could tell he wanted to be my friend, he just hasn't been around very many people, so he was unsure). This is easily changed! Not neutered/ No vetting (but I have an appointment to get his vetting & neuter surgery done and it will be done before he is adopted). * I have a 77 year old woman who I consider a very dear friend of mine. Her name is Racheal. I met her a few years ago when a very emaciated dog was Code Red at the city pound and she outright adopted her and nursed her back to health. She named her Maggie Hope. Maggie Hope passed away not too long ago, but knew nothing but love and comfort in her time with Racheal. She has saved MANY homeless animals and helped rescues by fostering, and also donating to them, not to mention to me! She is a wonderful and loving woman who is ALL about animals and their welfare and would just as soon feed them, than herself! She also feeds (and I've met and seen them) several neighbors' dogs - dogs who are not well cared for or taken care of by their own owners. I am trying to help her find a rescue for 5 of them and she has 7 of her own, most are now seniors. They are her love and her life. And, I want to help her. Rachel is in very poor health and I am trying to make sure her babies are taken care of. Lumberjack, along with several of her other babies, were dumped on her. People would always go to her knowing she would never say no to an animal.
