About Roan

Say hello to Roan. He is an owner surrender 6 year old Red Heeler in need of foster or adopter. This handsome cattle dog has tested great with all dogs and people, including kids and men. He is house broken, great on leash, affectionate and gentle. We haven't officially cat tested but he doesn't chase small animals. He rides great in a car. He is a low-medium energy guy who would love nothing more than a moderately active family and one or two doggy friends with similar energy levels to play with from time to time. He does have trust issues and is recovering from severe flea allergies so he does not do well with nails and vets. He will need training to be able to handle this. Roan is heart worm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and comes with free lifetime microchip registration. He also comes with free group training in St. Pete.
