About Pumba

Meet Pumba - a 3-4-year-old male bully low rider mix with a laid-back attitude and a heart of gold. Pumba was pulled from a kill shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized and has been in our shelter now for almost two years. Pumba is extremely affectionate and wants to be everybody's best friend. He is great with kids and good with medium and lower-energy dogs. Pumba has a slight limp in his front left leg because he was shot in the leg before entering the kill shelter. He takes joint supplements for it and gets around just fine. He loves naps, pillows, and sniffing around in the yard, but his absolute favorite thing is snuggling with humans. Pumba has shown gentleness toward children.
