After his human was arrested, a terrified 3-yr-old, 80 lb German Shepherd named STORMY was tragically seized by the NYPD and dumped at the New York City kill pound where cruel bureaucrats sentenced him to death, simply because that was easier than finding him a loving home. Thankfully, a 501(c)(3) rescue group saved the gentle giant at the last minute, and placed him in a foster home where STORMY quickly made friends with the other dog in the home. STORMY is now ready for a loving forever family of his own. Not surprisingly, STORMY will need a family where someone is always close to home, because the trauma of losing his human and being ripped from his home has understandably left hjm with a case of separation anxiety. STORMY is a sensitive, loving Shepherd who is also very intelligent. STORMY loves exploring the huge backyard at his foster home, so we hope to place him in a home with a large yard. STORMY is house-broken, neutered. up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health. STORMY walks gently on leash and as long as he isn't left alone, will show no behavioral issues whatsoever. STORMY doesn't have to be on top of his human all the time, but as long as he knows your home, he will be fine. Because STORMY is so calm, gentle and sweet, he would be easy for a retired individual or an elderly couple to manage. For more pictures, videos or to give STORMY a happy home, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868. We will transport STORMY to any loving home in the USA for free. Thank You for your interest in handsome STORMY, a truly lovable New York City rescue Shepherd!
