About OPAL

Opal came to us severely overweight and has lost a couple of pounds since arriving in rescue BUT she will need someone committed to continuing her weight loss journey for her best health outcome. Opal came from Yuma when her human died and she and her sister landed in the shelter. She has fit in easily at her foster home and has gotten along with all the other pups. She is estimated at 8 years old and is currently around 20# but should be 14# ideally. Opal walks nicely on a leash, does well in a crate and uses the dog door. She likes exploring and is curious in new surroundings. She can be a little vocal when she wants attention but she is easily pleased. She got a dental scaling during her time in rescue and has fully recovered.
