Clarice has been part of my family for 10 years and I have loved every moment. I adopted her when she was 2 years old and she is now 12. She was an 'only-child' for the full time she was with us and you could tell (hence not great with other animals as she prefers all the attention). She LOVES adults and anyone that will cuddle her - huge cuddler, and really a sweetheart to adults. We used to go to the dog park when she was younger, but she would quickly get tired and more snappy at other dogs if they would get in her face. She prefers to relax and just cuddle up the couch. She is scared of thunder and that is when she wants to cuddle the most. She only barks if the doorbell rings, but will not bark if she is on a walk and just sees another animal/human. Her eye recently got infected and it needed to be removed, but she has adjusted really well with only one eye thankfully. We recently had our first baby boy and now that he is getting more mobile we believe we need to find Clarice a new home. Toddlers climb, crawl, and pull on everything despite how closely we watch him - and do not want to risk it. She is so loveable though and this is really hard for us!
