About Banjo

Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

This handsome gent is Banjo, a 2 years old Australian Cattle Dog who weighs 48lbs. Banjo already knows sit, down, and shake hands. He is tidy in his kennel and never makes a mess when he hangs out in the staff office, even when left alone for a bit, so it appears that he is also house trained. Banjo has been friendly meeting shelter visitors. Just like most Cattle Dogs, he does like to sniff someone briefly before going into wiggly, friendly, happy mode. Banjo has been wonderful with other dogs in the playgroup. Click on the red YouTube button to see him in the play yard. He seems to also like to engage in some play with dog pals. Banjo is good on leash and, like most of this breed, should make a good adventure and travel companion. Banjo does fetch toys to you to throw. He LOVES squeaky toys.%A0 Banjo is a gem of a heeler. He is looking to be someone's best friend and activity companion. He will need an active home. He will also repay his new home with snuggles and cuddles. At the end of an active day, he would also love to be your lap dog and watch any sports or tv program you enjoy. Banjo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Banjo is located at Long Beach Animal Care Services.
