About Milly

Meet Milly! She is a 2 year old Border Collie mix and a beautifullllllll girl... Milly is still getting adjusted to the shelter and the noises. She is all shyness when you first meet her. She tucks her tail in and is hoping you are a good human. If you can croon a little, baby dog talk to her a little, she softens up... and then a little magic starts happening (pets, belly rubs, her beautiful amber eyes staring at you)! She is a darling of a pup and so easy to love. Ms. Milly is sweet, shy, and loving. She is good with other dogs, cats (she just chases them), and kiddos! One thing Milly is not OK with is horses. Absolutely no horses for Milly, or even horse neighbors. She will go after the horses, but did good with the pigs, and her previous owner believes she would be able to work with sheep as well. She was just too rough on the horses when they didn't do what she wanted so she wound up injuring them. Another secret Milly has up her sleeve? She is a ninja! She can climb chain link, dig under, and jump at least a 4-5 foot fence. These border Collie skilllllsss. will do best with an experienced adopter who can keep her active and safe! Millie is on the smaller side of medium dogs, we swear her hair weighs more that she does, lol. She is a sweetheart of a ninja and we would love to find her a great match where she can thrive. We are located at 2825 Sherman Ave in Monte Vista. Our hours are Tues-Fri 11-4 pm and Sat-Sun from 1-5 pm. You can also reach us at (719) 852-3366.
