About Remington

Give a warm welcome to Remington! He is a handsome, 3-year-old, 61lb Yellow Labrador Retriever that came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Remington is an awesome dog! He walks very well on a leash and likes to stay right next to his person. He is incredibly sweet, loving, and calm. Remington loves to be with his people and values connection over most things. He would do best in a home where his people are home often or that takes him with them often. He is more than content to lay around the house or yard and relax. Whether on the deck, cuddling on the couch or chewing on a bone he's just happy to hanging with his people. He has a gorgeous rich color to his coat and adorable floppy ears! Remington can be shy in new situations and will need an adopter that is patient in letting him build confidence and trust. We are looking for a quiet standalone home for him outside of the city without a lot of people coming and going. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He can do ok with other dogs but does not care to play with them and would prefer that dogs are not in his face or overly enthusiastic around him. For this reason, we are recommending that he be an only dog. Remington is going to make a great companion for any lucky household that adopts him! He is UTD on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
