Hey there, everyone! I'm Stevie, and I'm a sweet, very friendly, and playful 47-pound German Shepherd/ Siberian Husky mix fella who was born about July 2022. I have the coloration of a GSD, but my medium size and curved tail indicate that I may have some Husky blood coursing through my veins. (GSD males can weigh 65-90 pounds, and their tails usually hang down with a slight curve.) I get along great with all hoomans -- adults as well as kids -- and love to play with other dogs. Like a typical German Shepherd Dog, I'll want to bond with my forever family by being right in the center of all their activities. We GSD's can be gentle family pets who easily learn commands. Although German Shepherd Dogs make great house dogs, we need regular daily exercise for our physical and mental well-being. Huskies were bred to be compact sled dogs of significant endurance to pull light loads over frozen expanses. When we become house pets, we need an outlet for our considerable energy. So it's best that I get vigorous daily exercise at the dog park or in the back yard with a secure fence so I can run, run, run to my heart's content. A Good Samaritan found me as a stray wandering the mean streets of Houston with no chip, collar, or tags. I'm thankful that I was brought to Miss Donna because I know she'll find an amiable fella like me a wonderful second home. Stevie is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and crate-trained. His adoption fee is $400 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
