Romper was brought into the shelter after being found as a stray on 7/4. Staff found Romper to be easily leashed. He was nervous but when called over, approached and allowed all petting with a slight tail wag. Romper was anxious but ignored other dogs. The finder reached to pet Romper, which startled him and he caused an abrasion on the finder's left hand. Could fireworks have frightened this boy and put him in flight mode? Control officer's used a catch pole which further traumatized. Romper deserves a forever home and family. Please go meet this 5 year old, 64 lb boy and give him that chance.
