About Rosie

Hello! Rosie is a dog that is very loved in our family, but sadly, recent events have changed and she needs to be rehomed. Rosie is a wickedly smart corgi who loves water, the outdoors, and chasing bunnies. Recently, we had a baby about a year old and Rosie has not adjusted to life with a baby. She also does not get along with other dogs. She recently was in a dog attack and when someone attempted to break up the dog fight, Rosie redirected and bit this person. It was reported and she now has a bite history. Rosie is a reactive dog, who loves her independence and being the main source of attention. She also hates having her butt pet. (Head pats only) Rosie is needing to be in a household where she is the only dog. She loves human beings who are teenagers and older. She should never be around infants, young children, apartment complexes with other dogs, doggy play dates, boarding with other dogs, or dog parks. Our family is completely crushed that we have to rehome her, but wanted to be upfront regarding the care that is needed for Rosie. We would love to have updates throughout Rosie's life - if possible - we just want to make sure she's living well. Rosie is loved dearly, but it's not safe for her to be around young children or other dogs at this time. Sadly, we have both in our house. For Rosie to have a better life, rather than being confined, we are looking for someone who knows corgis well, will not bring her around young children, and not allow her to be around other dogs.
